Why Attend

1. Get Beyond the Day-to-Day

Community management isn't just about hosting events and keeping people happy—it's at the core of a coworking space's success. At COMS, you'll pick up smart strategies to boost engagement, build a stronger community culture, and contribute to the bigger picture.

2. Find Real Solutions to Real Challenges

Balancing people, operations, and daily demands isn't easy. COMS is a space for honest conversations about the realities of the job. Expect insights on setting boundaries, keeping up momentum, and staying engaged without burning out.

3. Meet the People Who Get It

COMS is about real connections—not just handshakes and business cards. Through small-group discussions, interactive workshops, and shared experiences, you'll build relationships that matter.

What You'll Walk Away With…

COMS isn't just about what you hear on the day—it's about what you take back and put into action.

  • Ideas You Can Use Now – Tried-and-tested tactics to boost engagement, improve processes, and create a coworking space people love.
  • A Go-To Support Network – A group of peers who get the job and will be there to swap ideas, offer advice and keep you inspired.
  • A New Level of Confidence – Whether you're just starting or have years of experience, you'll leave knowing your work has a real impact.
  • Insider Knowledge – What's working (and what's not) in coworking spaces around the world.
  • Fresh Motivation – A reset button for your mindset, energy, and vision—so you can go back to your space feeling recharged and ready.

Why Send Your Team?

Investing in your community managers brings real results to your coworking space.

1

Stronger, More Independent Leaders

Your team is your coworking space. At COMS, they'll gain the confidence and know-how to take initiative, solve problems, and keep the community thriving—without needing to check in at every turn.

2

Better Member Experience, Better Retention

Happy, well-equipped community managers create better coworking spaces. By learning from peers, your team will return with new ways to enhance member engagement, solve common issues proactively, and foster deeper connections.

3

Bring Back Fresh Perspectives

Coworking looks different everywhere—but the best ideas are meant to be shared. At COMS, your team will get an inside look at what's working in spaces around the world and how to bring those ideas home.

Our Journey to COMS

Back in 2015, we grabbed our bags and laptops, boarded a flight from Berlin to Milan, and began knocking on coworking doors wherever we landed. Sixty-seven cities and more than 550 coworking spaces later, one idea kept surfacing in every chat we had with operators: "Our team needs a place to swap notes—somewhere to learn from people who do this every day."

We started with print. Around the World in 250 Coworking Spaces turned those road-trip interviews into a big beautiful yellow book— that told the stories of the spaces we visited.

Then we initiated something smaller and in-person: the Community Managers Retreats. Four days in a quiet spot, a dozen managers, no slide decks. Just shared meals, whiteboard scribbles, and late-night sharing of stories and best practices.

COMS is the next step. Think of it as a working session scaled up: you help write the agenda, steer the workshops, and walk out with contacts you'll actually message on a Monday.
