A Coworking Tour of Barcelona — After COMS 2026

After the Barcelona summit, we toured the city's best coworking spaces — Monday, Cloudworks, Aticco and MOB. A recap of why Barcelona is one of Europe's great coworking capitals.

If Brighton showed us coworking with seaside charm, Barcelona showed us coworking at full Mediterranean scale. The day after COMS Barcelona 2026, we set out to explore the city's coworking scene — and it did not disappoint.

Barcelona is, simply, one of the best coworking cities in Europe: sunlight, design, great food, and a deep community of people building interesting things. Here's where we went.

Monday Pau Claris — our summit home

Our first tour in Barcelona was where the summit happened: Monday Pau Claris, in the heart of Dreta de l'Eixample neighbourhood, where community manager Martina showed us around. With coffee in hand before the lunch break, we got to appreciate the space groud floor - bright, beautifully designed, and effortlessly welcoming, right down to its outdoor terrace. We've written a full thank-you to the Monday team, because they earned it.

Cloudworks — polished and professional

The next day of the summit was dedicated exclusivly to tours, and we started at Cloudworks, where community manager Isabel and her team welcomed us. With locations dotted across the city — Passeig de Gràcia, Sant Antoni, El Born and more — Cloudworks brings a polished, professional energy and sun-soaked terraces(you feel as you can touch Sagrada Família from one of them). Cloudworks is the kind of space where growing teams feel instantly at home. Great light, smart design, and a hospitable team that clearly knows how to make people feel looked after. When talking to Isabel one can really feel she knows th espace and members habits inside out. A simple question about space customization bring out options, stories and team workflows that make members feel the team is there to back them up in any situation.

Aticco — community at scale

Then we made our way walking to Aticco, on of the most recognized coworking brands in Spain. We've met the team multiple times at the annual Coworking Spain Conference, but now it was great to visit one of their spaces in Barcelona. From the entrance, XYZXYZ showed us a corner with memorabilia from the Atico beginning, s mall corner with photos of the early day when the space was opened. The rest of the sapce was bright, open and full of people talkig over coffee. And we got the sense every coworkign space in Barcelona has a rooftop terrace with awesme view of the city. A true treat for the eyes. The outdoor terrace had standing desk table all around it terrace, genuinly welcoming you to just open your laptop nad have crack few emails for the sake of it. Well no emails for us but a proper photo made by a helpful member!

MOB — Makers of Barcelona

We finished at MOB (Makers of Barcelona), one of the city's original coworking communities, where community manager Marco gave us a warm welcome. With spaces in Dreta de l'Eixample (Bailèn), El Born (Caterina) and Sants, MOB has soul. It's creative, mission-driven, and full of the kind of independent makers who give Barcelona its character. Walking through, you feel the years of community built into the place. It's a sapce we know well and it's also part of our book about coworking. It's alway a pleasure to pass by MOB, its wecoming ground floor coffee shop is luring visitors into its premises. Marco took us on atour and was quite patient with us answering every question with a bit of history and lessons learned trough the years. One can see that experience matters and at MOB the space dynamics and the daily flows are something they have mastered quite well without the usual stress.

Four spaces, four personalities — and one thing in common: teams that treat hospitality as the job, not an afterthought.

If you're a remote worker, a relocating team, or an organiser searching for coworking spaces in Barcelona or an event venue, we'd happily recommend Monday, Cloudworks, Aticco, and MOB — each excellent in its own way.

Thank you to every team that welcomed us. From Brighton to Barcelona, the warmth of the coworking community is the real story of COMS.
