A Coworking Tour of Brighton — The Day After COMS 2025

The day after our first summit, we explored Brighton's coworking scene. A recap of the spaces and teams — Projects, PLATF9RM and WRAP — that make the city such a great place to work.

The summit was the main event — but some of our favourite moments happened the day after. With the energy of COMS Brighton 2025 still buzzing, a group of us set out to explore the city's coworking scene.

Brighton punches well above its weight when it comes to coworking. It's creative, independent, and friendly — and so are its spaces. Here's a recap of where we went and what made each one special.

Projects Coworking — where it all started

We began at Projects, our summit host, where community manager Dylan showed us around. Seeing it the morning after, calm and full of light, was a lovely way to start. If you've read our thank-you note, you already know how much this space — and its team — meant to the first COMS. A certified B Corp with a welcoming community and flexible rooms that work just as well for daily coworking as for events.

PLATF9RM — community with character

Next, PLATF9RM, where community managers Moni & Maya gave us the tour. It's hard not to be charmed by the personality of this place: bold design, a genuine creative community, and a team that clearly cares about the people in the building. Spread across Tower Point in central Brighton and Hove Town Hall, it's the kind of "third place" that feels less like an office and more like a home base for Brighton's makers, founders, and freelancers.

What stood out to us was the atmosphere of belonging — exactly the thing we obsess over at COMS. You can feel when a community team is doing its job well, and here you absolutely can.

WRAP Coworking — warm and human

We finished at WRAP, where co-founder Sarah Rossiter gave us a warm welcome. WRAP lives up to its name: a warm, human, wrap-around-you kind of space. Independently owned since 2021 and just 30 seconds from Brighton Station — complete with an on-site nursery — it's built around a healthy work-life balance. Friendly faces, thoughtful details, and a real sense that members look out for one another.

The best coworking spaces aren't selling desks. They're hosting communities. Brighton clearly understands the difference.

Why Brighton is a great coworking city

Across all three spaces, a pattern emerged:

What we looked forWhat Brighton delivered
Welcoming teamsHospitality at every stop
Spaces designed for connectionCommunities, not just desks
Local characterIndependent, creative energy

If you're a remote worker, a small team, or an event organiser scouting coworking spaces in Brighton, we'd happily point you to Projects, PLATF9RM, and WRAP. Three different flavours, one shared commitment to community.

A huge thank-you to every team that opened their doors and showed us around. You made the day after the summit just as memorable as the summit itself.

Next stop on the COMS journey? Barcelona. See what's coming up.
